The prospect of someday being able to sign books in the above manner may in fact be the only inspiration I need to finish the damned books.

And, can you believe that after a hellacious day Thursday, I forgot to bring my D.S. books with me to have him sign? Ugh. Third time I’ve been to see him and third time I’ve gone sans books. It’s a crying shame, although not as pathetic as the first time we went and had a full-on encounter with him behind the theater, where he was outside having a smoke beforehand, him saying hello to us as we passed, didn’t recognize him, having never seen him in person before (this was many years ago), then when he took the stage, nearly shitting ourselves.
