Congratulations to @buzz and @nevenmrgan! Birdfeed is now available at the App Store.
I avoided buying any other Twitter reader once I tried Birdfeed back in January. Unlike many Twitter apps, the layout gives plenty of space to each tweet, making it the most readable that Twitter iPhone client that I’ve used.
The “scroll for more” function should be adopted by more iPhone developers. I’ll explain what it is but until you try it for yourself, you may not understand how sexy/cool this is.
By default Birdfeed loads 20 posts. When you scroll to the bottom of this list, it automatically fetches the next 20 posts. No more little buttons think you touched. This does two things.
-
Cuts your feed into bite-sized, easy to swallow chunks.

The app feels fast, especially when connected to wifi.
The UI is incredibly feature rich for such a minimalist design. Navigating feels as natural and smooth as a LifeStyles SKYN Condom.
Overall the app is clean (go Neven!) and fast (go Buzz!).

What he said. Plus, there’s Favrd integration. You know, for those of us who know how to enjoy/give blow jobs. (That’s what we determined was the defining criteria, correct?)
